Momo Omukai https://www.kintsugi-kanazawa.com/
Born in Nanao City, Ishikawa Prefecture. After graduating in Sculpture from
Kanazawa College of Art, I spent eleven years teaching art to junior high school students.
My journey into Kintsugi began with a wish to restore a piece crafted by my
late mother, a potter.
Each repair is an act of honoring both the vessel’s beauty and the memories it
carries.
Michiko Kitaguchi(English speaking guide) It is my great pleasure to help you create a strong bond between you and Kanazawa through the Kintsugi experience.
My name is Kayo Yoshitaya. I’m from Kanazawa. I do the tea ceremony, sencha
tea ceremony, Japanese confectionery making, flower arrangement, and kintsugi.
With a passion for sharing Japanese culture, I travel to Europe once or twice
a year to introduce it—especially Japanese tea, which I also aim to export.
My main foreign language is Italian, and I can also communicate well in
English.
My name is Shigeki Yagi. I am in charge of the Kanazawa class and the Yamanaka Onsen class. My main focus is the Yamanaka Onsen class. I have been working in kintsugi for over 20 years. I strive to convey the beauty of lacquerware to my customers in an easy-to-understand manner. I am currently studying English so that I can explain things in English as much as possible.
